Appreciation and Ministry Updates

Please allow me to appreciate you all ... as month of October is "Appreciation Month!" To all the leaders, workers, members of JIL Area 4 & 5: Your leadership and partnership is very much valued and appreciated. Keep up the good work - greater things are yet to come as we work together in unity and in cooperation for the expansion of God's kingdom in the Year of Conquest in Manitoba & Saskatchewan, Canada.

Sacrifice

A chaplain was speaking to a soldier on a cot in a hospital. "You have lost an arm in the great cause," said the chaplain."No," said the soldier with a smile. "I didn't lose it—I gave it."In that same way, Jesus did not lose His life. He gave it purposefully. "He died that we might be forgiven and go at last to heaven."

CYN / Youth Service:

• October 25 - JIL Winnipeg had their 1st CYN / Youth Service. The CYN MVV was reviewed and exhorted with the Message "My Best for God!" They are preparing for November service with the goal of doubling their number to forty and becoming a Church (with 50 members) by January 2009.

Sports Fest:

• October 26 - Sports Day / WII Sports (bowling competition) with the participation of 4 groups / teams from JIL Winnipeg NW, SW, NE, SE. It was fun... with laughter ... a joyous moment for everyone. The church is the place of refuge - a place to celebrate God ... a family that plays together stays together.

We are excited while waiting for the arrival of Musikatha Team with Sis. Edtith Mendoza and Team members for Worship Seminar and Workshop on November 7 & 8 and the Healing & Breakthrough Service at Hilton Airport on November 9, with JIL SK (Saskatoon & Regina).

Once again, congratulations and a million thanks to all our pastors (JIL), leaders, workers and members of the congregation. God's mighty favor be upon you all now and always!

So many things to share in addition to what I've shared already...our side trip to Bohol. Indeed...I can simply say no place like home! The beauty of our nation is very unique...the Pearl of the Oreint!

Celebrate God... Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

Hello everyone...A blessed good morning from Friendly Manitoba! Today is another day to Celebrate God...putting into remembrance HIS faithfulness yesterday, the marvelous acts HE is doing today coz He is abundantly able to do supernatural acts tomorrow in the life of everybody.

IMPORTANCE OF A SMILE

In the window of a small store in Gellyburg, PA, was a sign with these words: “If you can’t stop in, SMLE as go by!” It takes 73 muscles to frown, 14 to smile. No wonder the grouchy people are always tired. It has been said, if you laugh everyday it is equal to 10 minutes of exercise.

God is Great...HIS love is forever...it never fails! With all my heart... I just want to say maraming salamat sa lahat.... ...To my God ... To my family ... To my leaders, pastors (JIL) ... To my congregations (JIL Area 4 & 5) JIL MB & SK ... To all your support / prayers Therefore, my dear brothers stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
